INDICAZIONE GEOGRAFICA TIPICA
GRAPES AND VINIFICATION
Produced with Garganega and Incrocio Manzoni grapes, which are dried for 4/5 month in shallow crates. Both fermentation and ageing take place in small oak barrels
TASTING NOTE
The colour is a bright golden yellow. On the nose it reminds of acacia honey, dried apricots and tropical fruit. It has a clean, sweet and fruity flavour along with notes of flowers, vanilla and hazelnuts and a long, elegant almondy finish. It is sweet but not cloying, thanks to its good acidity.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
It goes very well with dry pastries, shortbread, apple pie or strudel and for accompanying blue cheeses (Gorgonzola, Roquefort, Stilton) or with foie gras. It is also excellent outside the context of a meal, just as an accompaniment to conversation.
