Description: “Rumi Royale Monterey Jack” is a six-month aged Monterey Jack with a high butterfat content that captures the saffron flavor notes as well as enrobing them in much the same way as butter added to a sauce softens and enriches it. 

The saffron that we use comes from Afghanistan through Rumi Spice.  The saffron is handpicked with tweezers.  If you have tasted saffron before, you will difference with this saffron.  If not, enjoy.

Pairing:  This flexible cheese works surprisingly well with a wide range of beers, wines and even mescal and sake.
